Un peu de neuf sur Melinyel

Alors, il y a beaucoup à dire. Comment faire ? Petit à petit.
Ce sujet un peu innopiné aura pour but, déjà, pour moi, de renouer avec les éléments restants de la communauté mais aussi de vous tenir au courant des projets de Melinyel. Cela va faire probablement beaucoup d'informations en vrac, tout sera précisé et affiné dans le courant de la semaine, pas de panique !

Voilà quelques mois, j'avais annoncé mon départ temporaire du forum, la raison de mon absence était ma situation IRL : ne pouvant pas cumuler mes projets / loisirs et ma vie réelle, j'ai dû faire un choix. Pour faire court (car le sujet de ce sujet (joli, non ?) n'est pas là), j'ai désormais fais le même choix mais à l'opposé : j'ai mis en pause mon activité réelle pour me consacrer à mes projets personnels. Ce qui, vous l'aurez compris, me laissera plus de temps au cours de cette année pour le forum.

Anyway, j'ai continué de suivre le forum via Soulalex, il y a eu des hauts et des bas, mais malgré tout je suis extrêmement satisfait de voir que certains des bons éléments sont restés malgré la dégradation de l'activité. La question à se poser désormais est : que faire pour relancer le forum ? Récemment, un sujet a été posté pour vous demander ce qui vous intéresserait, vous, en tant que membre de la communauté et donc vecteur d'un futur changement. Sujet auquel vous avez répondu en votant ou en venant nous / me parler directement via skype.
Il en est ressorti que les axes qui vous motiveraient seraient : 1 / 2) le développement et l'informatique et 3) l'émulation. Nous réfléchissons donc au fait de recentrer, à terme, le but de Melinyel et de ne plus se définir comme "forum généraliste technophile" mais plutôt orienté vers quelque chose de plus précis (ce n'est pas encore décidé), les pistes pouvaient allaient vers l'émulation de jeux-vidéos. Incluant évidemment la mise en place de serveur de jeux, scripts, addons, l'administration système, le développement informatique. Mais rien n'est sûr.

Ce nouveau thème nous permettrait d'allier informatique, jeux-vidéos, administration système / réseau et programmation informatique, alors ne vous inquiétez pas : tout le monde y trouvera son compte. Évidement, ceci n'est qu'un projet que nous allons mettre petit à petit en exécution avec tout les process qui s'en suit : redéfinition des objectifs du forum, publicité, amélioration de notre visibilité, nettoyage, optimisation, etc...

Nous avons une liste (que l'on affine quotidiennement) de choses prévues, mais plutôt que tout promettre d'un coup et vous faire languir nous sortirons les nouveautés au fur et à mesure, en espérant que cela redonne un intérêt non-négligeable à Melinyel pour reformer une communauté de gens sympas, motivés et compétents. Ainsi, vous verrez les changement au fur et à mesure : dans un futur proche, l'organisation du forum changera probablement drastiquement.

Également, pour faciliter la communication, en plus de la shoutbox, nous allons nous doter d'un Discord pour pouvoir communiquer à l'écrit ou à l'oral entre nous. C'est aussi un moyen de lier la communauté entre elle et de vous permettre de suivre les changements que nous apporteront au fur et à mesure.

 

Ça ne sera pas facile de rallumer la braise du forum, mais avec du temps, de la patience et de la disponibilité, on y arrivera.

3) Melinyel est un forum qui, pour citer mon co-administrateur, s'est éparpillé en ayant un objectif vague, nous voudrions redéfinir notre "coeur de métier" et objectif, en gardant l'informatique et le développement informatique au centre. L'émulation est une alternative intéressante dans ce contexte là mais pas forcément le choix définitif. On cherche donc comment réinventer le forum.
4) Rome ne s'est pas faite en un jour : nous  n'allons pas vous promettre des changements du jour au lendemain. Cela se fera petit à petit (mais ensemble) !
 

J'insiste sur un point : ceci est un sujet pour vous tenir au courant de nos projets, c'est-à-dire de ce que nous envisageons de faire, rien n'est encore pleinement décidé. Tout est encore en discussion et si une idée lumineuse et plus opportune se présente à nous, elle sera considérée comme telle.

Pour l'émulation, il y a pas mal d'inconvenants même s'il y a beaucoup de sujets intéressants traiter :

• Allons-nous nous concentrer sur un jeu en particulier ou nous diversifier ?

 

Pour la programmation, le problème était de savoir ce que l'on devait faire pour plaire aux membres. Là aussi c'est assez dur de trouver un bon compromis vu le nombre de forums qui existent. On avait envisagé de se baser sur des petits projets pour les assembler et faire quelque chose de plus gros mais c'est très compliqué niveau organisation.
